Launched at Corinella with a couple of mates, had a crack around Rhyll with a few elephants, then moved around to a spot near Stockyard Point with more elephants; they are everywhere. A bit of a let down but that's fishing, all but three were released. |

Boy o boy what wild weather to be fishing in but still lots of fun when you land some nice fish. Got to location calm and warm. By 4.30pm windy, big waves, lighting, thunder, rain and hail. I was knee deep in water pulling in 3 nice snapper in 15 minutes all on calamari bait. Weather calmed down (5.30pm) rain stopped and fish went off the bite. An experience I will not forget in a hurry. Had wet weather gear on so stayed dry (my mate looked like a drowned rat). My unlucky mate got onto about 6 snapper but the poor bugger dropped the lot. That's fishing for you (gave him 1 of mine). |

Great morning again, calm conditions early then wind picked up as i was leaving. Pinky was a bonus and mullet came on at 8am with low tide. Not many whiting around. Mullet landed on whiting gear using small pieces of pilchard. This catch was for the in-laws (love mullet). |

Really good night to be fishing. Watched an electric storm, but I think all the fish went on holiday!! They seem to do this a lot!!!! |
