Best time is early morning, run-out tide. Best bait differs from day to day, just work out what they are feeding on by having multiple baits out. Good day! |

Conditions were very choppy. Trying to get gummy or snapper, but flatties kept chewing up our pillies. Then we targetted the flatties with prawns. Suprisingly the prawns brought in all the gummies and the banjo! |

Got the snapper on the corals at the bottom of the tide. The gummies came in at Elizabeth Island channel after dark on the run in tide. |

Great night out, calm, mild, very low tide, dried out at least 30m below regular low water mark on our spot. A few good bites prior to tide change but no landings. One hr after run-in tide, numerous good bites, including a strike bust off on 50lb mono trace by a suspected GOOD sized gumm., Then all hell broke loose when landing my PB snapper of 75cm & 5kg. Several nice sambos and another good pan sized pinky followed plus an undersized gummy. A good start to the season for us! |
