Fished from a discrete bit of shoreline on the east coast. Only fresh squid had any real interest shown, and caught the two fish. What's with elephants at this time of year? |

Great day out, marked spot, nearly lost a rod and reel. Dived in after it, got wet, saved my best rod, had a good laugh as my wallet got wet too. |

Fished Buoy 13, lost two fish, larger sharks I think, as I was bitten off. All fish before 7am except the gummy at 7.45am. |

Helped pull a fellow boater out of a sandbank and cut the anchor rope off his propeller when we first arrived. Quiet in the morning, then fish appeared suddenly from nowhere about 90 mins after morning tide change, continued biting for another 90 mins then not a single bite all the way through the next tide change. All under 33cm released. (See photo in Gallery section.) |
