We were on a charter, had a great day out. Had to put back several elephent fish as we had already bagged out by 10am. |

Had a good start on the mullet and whiting then all went quiet, then we got two flathead and then the snapper came on the bite- the first one was 30cm and the second was around 38cm. The big one was 63cm which put up a great fight and took half an hour to bring in. I might be 13 but it was a good spot and a good day. |

Didn't start off very well so decided to go for a soft plasic and got a pike, then had a good run, don't know what it was, felt good but snapped me off. |

Fish were biting all day but most of the action was mid way on the incoming tide. Good day of fishing. |

Fish came on the bite at 9 just as the sun had gone down. All fish caught in 30mins. My first snapper of the season and a P.B at 7kg, very happy. Mate caught his first ever snapper at 6kg. Fantastic night (see photo in Gallery section). |
