Fished upstream of the weir in Macclesfield. Went to our usual hole (fallen tree) and it was constant bites every minute while we were there. Light scares them off so we lost plenty, they were biting very lightly so hard to hook them once the sun went down. A great creek with a hell of a lot of blackies in them. Used unweighted rigs. |

Fished the outlet channel, the water was very muddy, couldn't spot the fish so needed to just drop the line in and see what happens. Was surprised to get onto the brown straight away, then the rainbow, but not surprised with the damn eel. River level was high as well, hopefully better luck after the rain clears and the water becomes clearer. |

Fished upstream from the bridge. The river is running low & clear & looks a treat. Had a trout of about 1 & a 1/2 pound hit the lure a couple of times but unfortunately no hookup. On the bright side, I now know where he lives! |

Fished upstream from Yarrabridge. Weather was fantactic and lots of fish rising to surface. Changed from nymph to red tag and hooked up straight away. Great day and the new rod and reel worked a treat!! |
