Youngster gets a platypus fright

From: nathan

One day when I was about ten years old I went fishing with my uncle down Fynsford in the Barwon River.

We hadn't been there long when a big long shape popped out of the water... I didn't move for about a minute andI screamed out to my uncle and told him that there was a crocodile in the river.

Whatever it was when it heard me yell out it went like a bat out of hell and send me running up the river bank.

When I told my uncle he told me that it was just a platypus but I didnt want to go near that
river for a long time after that.
