 Sometimes you just have to get wet, from AaronFrom: Aaron Went down to Corinella on Monday night (10th of March) with a mate (Greg). We had been fishing for a while just catching rays and small flatheads, when all of a sudden my mate's rod bent over and over and next thing you know his rod is being smashed along the rocks then into the water. He quickly ran after it into the water without gumboots (lol). He couldn't see very well because it was dark and the water was very dirty. He could see the wake from his rod and he was up to his knees in water when he dived for it and got it just. Lucky for him, he saved his rod and reel worth about $500. The fish ended up being a decent size eagle ray. He was hoping it was a big gummy or jewie. My mate sat in the car with no clothes on for the trip home, lol. (13 March 2003) |
