 Watch out for flying sinkers, from JoeFrom: Joe McGurk This happened about 15 years ago, 5 of us fishing from the rocks at Mt Martha, all pretty well half uder the weather. We were trying to out cast each other, 4 of us had cast out and were waiting for Dutchy to cast. As he did so we all heard his line snap so to much banter and laughter he started to re rig his gear when all of a suden he fell over with blood running out of his head. The 3oz star sinker had gone straight up into the air and came down right on his nut! It could only happen to Dutchy... so look out for flying sinkers. (20 August 2003) |
