• Like to try fly fishing but not sure of where to go, what fish to target and how to prepare the rigs or bait?

  • Like to try boat fishing but don't have a boat, or have a boat but are short on crew or local experience?

  • Like to try new locations and different types of Fishing?

Then you need to consider joining Waverley and District Anglers Inc (WADA, Inc. No. A0024647R) whose Objectives are:

  • To provide an organisation for the promotion of the involvement of individual members and families in fishing and social activities.

  • To promote and teach all facets of angling, in particular to the junior angler.

  • To encourage and assist in the conservation of all natural resources and the preservation of fish stocks.

  • To pursue a policy of non competition within the association.

The club is clearly aimed towards encouraging both individuals and families to enjoy all forms of angling whilst appreciating and caring for our natural resources and environment. This is achieved by combining, without any pressure from internal competition, all activities including distinguished guest speakers catering for the novice, proficient, family and boat based anglers.

At the same time the more enthusiastic anglers take part on behalf of the club, in the various Australian Anglers Association Victorian Branch Competitions with the Club having won the 1995, 1996 and 1997 Overall Open Championships.

Club meetings are held on the third (3rd) Tuesday of each month commencing at 7.30pm at:

St Christopher's Church Hall
      Doon Avenue, Mt Waverley 3149
Visitors and prospective members are always most welcome.

Should you wish to join and become actively involved in the club or require any further information please feel free to come along and introduce yourself at the next club meeting.
